What is love?

Love is when one name races around your brain all through the night
You can’t keep him out your thoughts, though you try with all your might

Love is when you dance with joy just because they text you
A smile in your direction stops you ever feeling blue

Love is when your school books are graffiti with his name
Thinking of him makes the sun shine through the pouring rain

Love is when you can’t stop yourself gazing in his direction
Every dream you have consists of gaining his affection

Love is when words can’t describe how strongly you feel
A conversation with him makes all fairytales become real

Love is when you can tell him anything that’s on your mind
You’ve now come to realise that he really is one of a kind

Love is when you’d do anything so he never has to cry
To keep a smile on his face you’d be oh so willing even to die

Love is when their physical pain hurts you so much more
Love is when you soon find that for those lovesick, there truly is no cure
